This rating enables a JAR PPL holder to fly at night by himself or with passengers.

The course consists of 5 hours of flying, 3 hours of which are dual with an instructor and the rest solo. The pilot has to do 5 full stop landings by himself and also leave the circuit and under go a navigation exercise.

There are no written exams and no flight tests!
